Hand Colored Etchings

Click Prints above for more details

Here are some examples of monochrome prints that have been hand colored  (or hand tipped) using watercolors.  These are known as aquarelle etchings.  The Arches Cover paper accepts watercolor in much the same manner as regular watercolor paper, provided it is done relatively soon after printing.  I made these primarily as color guides for reproduction use; note cards and such.  I can do hand coloring on request, and I keep a set of these colored etchings on hand to remind me how to color additional prints.
